Nazgul Yergalieva, Justice Initiative’s Legal Officer for Central Asia, plans and implements projects in the fields of national criminal justice and legal capacity development and serves as liaison officer for Central Asian Soros National Foundations. Nazgul, who previously worked at COLPI, has earned academic degrees in the United States, Kazakhstan and at Budapest’s Central European University. She has received merit-based scholarships from the government of Kazakhstan and the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.
